Our Story

Wyoming Fudge Company, LLC began as a long‑held dream for founder Kristy Sims. Years ago, she operated a small fudge shop in the quiet town of Pinedale, Wyoming. Although she loved that chapter, she eventually closed the store as the economy shifted and her long‑running office supply business demanded her full attention.

After selling that office supply store in 2025—after more than 30 years—Kristy realized she wasn’t quite ready for retirement. She purchased a home in Gillette, Wyoming to be closer to her children and grandchildren, and soon began searching for the perfect space to bring her fudge dream back to life.

After months of patience and planning, the right building finally became available. From there, the real work began: hiring employees, updating plumbing and electrical systems, and securing the necessary permits from city, county, and state agencies. Piece by piece, everything came together.

Wyoming Fudge Company celebrated its soft opening on January 12, 2025, marking the start of an exciting new chapter. There have been a few hurdles along the way, but each one has been met with determination and pride.

The website is the final piece of the puzzle, and we’re thrilled to welcome you here as we continue learning, growing, and refining our craft.
